  "description": "  <b>Story Map Swipe and Spyglass<\/b> is a configurable Story Map application template that enables users to compare layers in one web map, or compare two different web maps, using a vertical swipe bar or spyglass lens. This application is ideal for showing before-and-after imagery, for comparing thematic data, etc.  When you configure Swipe, an interactive builder appears that makes it easy to create your story map.<br /><br />A Story Map Swipe or Spyglass application can be created by launching the builder from <a href='https://storymaps.arcgis.com/en/app-list/swipe-spyglass/' target='_blank'>this page<\/a> on the <a href='https://storymaps.arcgis.com/' target='_blank'>Esri Story Maps website<\/a>, or by sharing a web map as an application from the map viewer. You can also click the 'Create a Web App' button on this page to create a story map with this application.
