Description The Flow Accumulation global function creates a raster of accumulated flow into each pixel, as determined by accumulating the weight for all pixels that flow into each downslope pixel. If no weight raster is provided, a weight of 1 is applied to each pixel, and the value of pixels in the output raster is the number of pixels that flow into each pixel.

Output pixels with a high flow accumulation are areas of concentrated flow and can be used to identify stream channels. Output pixels with a flow accumulation of zero are local topographic highs and can be used to identify ridges.
