| Description | Story Map Tour is a configurable Story Map application template featuring a web map, geotagged images or videos, captions, and a thumbnail carousel. This application is ideal for presenting a sequential, place-based narrative, such as a walking tour, or any series of locations you'd like your users to follow in sequence. When you configure a Map Tour, an interactive builder appears that makes it easy to create your story map. A Story Map Tour can be created by launching the builder from this page on the Esri Story Maps website, or by sharing a web map as an application from the map viewer. You can also click the 'Create a Web App' button on this page to create a story map with this application. Optionally, the application source code can be downloaded for further customization and hosted on your own web server.
