Description   Story Map Swipe and Spyglass is a configurable Story Map application template that enables users to compare layers in one web map, or compare two different web maps, using a vertical swipe bar or spyglass lens. This application is ideal for showing before-and-after imagery, for comparing thematic data, etc. When you configure Swipe, an interactive builder appears that makes it easy to create your story map.

A Story Map Swipe or Spyglass application can be created by launching the builder from this page on the Esri Story Maps website, or by sharing a web map as an application from the map viewer. You can also click the 'Create a Web App' button on this page to create a story map with this application. The application source code can be downloaded for further customization and hosted on your own web server.
